How much truffle should I buy?
It is recommended to purchase 7-10 grams of truffle per person. One piece of 50 grams of truffle is approximately the size of a golf ball and will be sufficient for a meal for 5 people.
How are truffles shipped?
After sorting truffles according to their qualities, they are washed and packaged. Truffles, packed in air-filled, vacuum-sealed packages, are repackaged with ice packs in insulated styrofoam boxes to maintain the cold chain before being shipped to your homes.
How to store Truffle?
If you have purchased black truffle and do not consume all of it immediately, you should know how to preserve it. The importance of proper storage for preserving the aroma and quality of this exquisite product like truffle cannot be overlooked.
Black truffle should be consumed within 5 days of receipt, or else, even if it does not spoil, it will lose its aroma every day. If not consumed immediately, store it without opening the vacuum package. Once opened, it should be stored in the refrigerator wrapped in paper towels, in a glass jar. If you want to store it for a longer period, freezing is possible. Freezing the truffle in a closed plastic box will help preserve its aroma.
