Discover the exceptional Black Autumn Truffle, also known as Tuber Uncinatum or Autumn Truffle. Harvested from September to December, this culinary gem adds a distinctive flavor to a variety of dishes. Stored at +2 degrees Celsius, with optimal conditions, its shelf life extends to 10-14 days.
Quality Standards:
-
Extra Black Truffle: 15 grams and above. 90% of the peridium, the outer layer, is flawless and well-shaped, making it a choice for the world's finest restaurants.
-
A Grade: Above 10 grams, with 80% of the truffle maintaining its overall shape. While smaller, it shares similar qualities with larger pieces, suitable for various kitchen applications depending on your culinary preferences.
-
B Grade: May have irregular shapes and more than 50% scratches or breakage on the peridium. Despite its non-uniform appearance, it is a high-quality truffle with good aroma, suitable for grating rather than slicing.
-
C Grade: Partially fresh, fragmented truffle mushrooms ideal for those using truffles in various forms, such as in sauces or grated.
How Much Truffle Mushroom Should I Buy?
